The Fraser Coast Regional Council will stage the Hervey Bay Whale Festival, with 12 hours of non-stop celebrations in honour of the humpback whales and our unique natural environment.
It will start with a Whale Festival Family Fun Day - featuring eco-expo, kids recycle factory, rides, amusements, sand sculpturing, live entertainment and markets. It will be followed by an Illuminated Street Parade and will end with the Live Whale Aid Concert – featuring a line-up of talented Australian musicians with a focus on raising money for whale conservation and including an exciting fireworks display.
